Soap Opera Socialite

Welcome to the very first

Soap Opera Socialite Newsletter!

Hey all, Jason here! Welcome to the first newsletter! I’m thrilled to have such a big response to us launching this. It’s only the beginning!

Our primary reason to launch a newsletter is to keep you, our fans, informed on all of our present and upcoming events. We have an event planned for every month in 2013 and cannot wait to reveal them to you. We’ll definitely give you enough notice so you have plenty of time to make plans to attend them! Plus this is also a way to let you know of any last minute changes to any of our events, as some of you may miss an announcement on our Twitter news feed. And we promise to not clutter your inbox! So on we go!!

Coming Soon!!!

Have you ever wanted to brag to your friends that you’re the biggest soap opera fan alive?? Well, now you can! Coming in January is our first-ever monthly contest, Soap Fan of the Month! Every month, we’ll announce on Twitter and in our newsletter a question or puzzle to answer and we’ll pick, at random, the fan with the best answer and award them the title of Soap Fan of the Month! Not only will you then get to brag about your new title, we’ll also send you a certificate for two (2) VIP tickets for you and a friend to ANY SOSP fan event we produce! The certificate will be good for one year. And the best part about the contest is that there is no purchase necessary! So watch out for our next newsletter in December when we announce details for the first fan contest!

And on a sad note….

This week we have lost a friend to SOSP and a daytime colleague. For those who have not heard the news, Chicago based photographer Steve Starr and soap scribe Barbara Esensten have both passed away. You can read more about them by clicking the links below:
