Joe Manganiello co-stars in Magic Mike a flick based on Channing Tatum's stripper days. He has this to say to OUT : The strippers in Magic Mike are more the types that shake it Chippendales-style for bachelorettes than gyrating go-go boys at your local gay watering hole. “This is Chan’s experience,” Manganiello says of the homoerotic, yet hetero-themed, flick. Manganiello interviewed a former male stripper to research the era. “All the guys he worked with were dead or in rehab,” he says, “but it was the time of his life -- this insanely destructive lifestyle, this club life. It was sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll... and getting paid to take your clothes off and have sex.” Manganiello promises Magic Mike will incorporate all of the complexities of the grind. “There are a lot of drugs, the overdosing, the depraved lifestyle,” he says. “But on the other side, it’s hilarious.” Go here for complete interview .

Well, Entertainment Weekly is good for something, you know. Today it is good for this: reporting that " True Blood werewolf Joe Manganiello just hunted down a guest role on the next season of USA’s White Collar ." At first glance, a homosexual man's mind might very well go to wonderful places--places that involve Matt Bomer and long, romantic embraces. For now they will just have to remain in the mental boudoir. EW goes on to say: "Manganiello will play a villain on the show, a recently released ex con, who brings trouble to the Burke neighborhood when he moves in across the street from Peter and Elizabeth (Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen). The series is currently in its third season and the midseason finale, guest starring Beau Bridges, airs on Tuesday, Aug. 9. The second half of the season (which will include Manganiello) launches next January." The "launch" part sounds good.

Joe Manganiello and Armie Hammer-lovers? The True Blood hunk and the Winklevoss twins guy spent Christmas together. Hammer [actually it was Manganiello] told someone at the E! After Party that Hammer's mommy even gave him special pjs to wear. He said they're really close friends. They're both around 6'5", easy to spoon with and everything. Could it be possible they're actually LOVERS? Excuse me, I have to rub one out now.
