Saturday Beefcake Dessert from 2007

The wonderful fennel is quite good for you and this menu has been nothing if not that as well as tasty. It is now permitted to indulge one's self even further.





Cheesecake Brownies

Mascarpone Cheese, 250 grams,
Sugar about one half cup
Eggs, three
Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup, one can
Vanilla Extract , two teaspoons
Brownie Mix
Oven pre-heated 350F

1. Beat cheese until smooth with a mixer at medium speed.
2. Alternately add sugar and eggs (3 times), beating well after each addition.
3. Beat in soup and vanilla until well blended.
4. Mix brownie mix, following package instructions.
5. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
6. Slowly pour cheese mixture over brownie base.
7. Bake for forty-five minutes or until set.
8. Cool for a minimum of two hours

This makes two dozen brownies.
