Roger and Frank is a collection of photos from the 1950's of a gay couple and their friends. "Although 'the boys' did not write their last names on the back of any of the snapshots they did frequently note dates, place names, and often the full names of friends pictured." Columnist Robert L. Pincus of the San Diego Tribune wrote about an exhibtion of the photos in 2005, "Roger and Frank, a persistently happy looking gay couple, prolifically documented their vacations, Christmas celebrations, parties and other events between 1947 and 1956."
