Tuesday Talent: Terrell Tilford

The excellent and molto simpatico actor who brings the complex Dr. Greg Evans to life on One Life to Live brought that appeal to here! TV's The DL Chronicles and Days of Our Lives where also played a doctor. Doctor Greg Evans in the person of Mr. Tilford brings grown up and uncomplicated sensuality to the show. There is still a lot of life in the character and his family in spite of Daphnee Duplaix's pending departure. We are hoping that the powers that be over at ABC-TV and One Life to Live are listening. "Have we been waiting for something like this since Billie, then Dinah passed on--i.e. groovy, in-the-tradition jazz singing that actually means something? Heir apparent Betty Carter is on an ego trip, Cassandra Wilson is too arty... and so on. Abbey Lincoln's trip is something else again (perhaps Parisian) as she poignantly introduces "How High The Moon" in broken French and triumphantly ends the set with Francis Lai's "Live For Life."
