Monday Musing: Lambeth, The Apostolic Succession, and Much Ado About Nothing

One would think that African Anglican Bishops would have much more to be concerned about other than excluding women and gay people from the Episcopacy. Many of them are boycotting the gathering of the Anglican/Episcopalian Bishops in Lambeth in the UK.

The million people who are afflicted with AIDS in Uganda don't care. If a God there is and if a God cared that there were evil homosexuals in the world, the world would have exploded ages ago. OK?

Apostolic Succession has to do with consecration of sacraments and the passing on of that from Bishop to Bishop going all the way back to Jesus and his gang of twelve. There was something in there about loving one's fellow human being, too, wasn't there?
