Why “Safer Sex In The City”?

AIDS Service Center NYC (ASC) is in the forefront of the fight against HIV/AIDS and the effort to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to HIV prevention, services, and treatment. Devoting equal time and resources towards all three of these essential areas is now our best hope in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Join us in our mission of “helping many, one by one” by lending your support to Safer Sex In The City 2008 today.

Safer Sex In The City raises awareness about HIV prevention
and staying healthy in the age of AIDS.

Safer Sex In The City communicates openly about
sexuality and risk reduction.

Safer Sex In The City makes safe play sexy.

Safer Sex In The City lets people with HIV know that
ASC is here to help.

Safer Sex in the City does what ASC does best. The event shares skills that help people protect themselves. It links people to testing so they can learn their HIV status. Most importantly, it lets people with HIV know that if they need help, we’re here for them. As our partner in the struggle, you will be too.
