POZ’s fund-raising project for AIDS Walk New York, Love Out Loud at Prohibition on 14 May 2008 continues to grow. Feel free to make a direct donation: the donor page can be accessed by clicking on the AIDS Walk banner above . The event continues to be chronicled here and that’s where the local celebrities who have lent their names to help promote this project are announced.

To make it easy for you, here are some of the celebrities who will be in attendance: Amanda Baker (All My Children), BethAnn Bonner (One Life to Live), Mark Dobies (One Life to Live/Guiding Light), Marj Dusay (Guiding Light), Melissa Claire Egan (All My Children), Thorsten Kaye (All My Children), Ilene Kristen (One Life to Live), John-Paul Lavoisier (One Life to Live), Billy Miller (All My Children), and Matt Walton (All My Children/One Life to Live).



As always, appearances are contingent on shooting schedules. Still this year looks very good for this effort as our event grows. There will be more names added as the date draws near.

The good people at Prohibition, BGR Web Design, Graphic Communications, Law & Order: CI, Law & Order: SVU, Soap Maven, Christina Gan & All My Children have lent valuable assistance in moving ahead. Something like this tends to bring out the best in people.

There was a time when the Gossip Forum on Datalounge was a particularly entertaining cyberspace, much like a funny Joan Rivers routine. In the last two years it has become painful to read some of the posts there. There's a Datalounge thread all abuzz about The University of Kentucky, Lee Majors and Rock Hudson. If true, oh to have been a fly on that wall[s]! Experiencing the young Mr. Majors in The Big Valley was magnificent fodder for adolescent hormonal terrain. In researching this legend, there was an interesting entry on a UK site dedicated to Lee Majors. See below and go here . And now appearing in the role of Henry Willson, Rock Hudson.
