George Eads and Datalounge

Datalounge is one of the more interesting cyber forums on the planet. It has taken on a life nurtured -- it seems -- by the gossips of the gay community. Often it is invaded by straight women and they often get the blame for a lot of the rancor and downright ornery posts that ensue when a declaration of famous person's homosexuality is contradicted. There was so much mayhem around Soap Operas, that Soap Opera threads are now verboten in a place where there is a lot of freedom to say whatever one pleases.

George Eads has been considered prime male turf since he made his mark on the prime time serial drama, Savannah. He is, as many know, a star on the CBS hit series, CSI. Threads and discussions of Mr Eads' sexuality are frequently posted over there at Datalounge. That he is homosexual is a rumour that won't give up. Perhaps it's because he lives with his co-star Eric Szmanda and with whom he may show up at an event or two.

Gay men are staking their claim and the value of this claim seems to be ever on the increase. Is it possible for two single middle aged men to live together and be decidedly heterosexual?

The consensus gathered from every part, including these parts is that George is well worth the time and the focus. It would do the so-called gay male community a great service if he were to come out. Imagine if both he and Eric came out and applied for a domestic partnership or some such -- or went to the GLAAD Awards together and made out like the straight guys do.
