New York's television and theatrical celebrities will take their place behind the bar at the semi-annual "Stockings with Care Celebrity Bartending Night" in New York City, Wednesday November 16 at Hudson Station Bar and Grill (440 Ninth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets) from 7pm to 11pm to raise money for the not-for-profit organization. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families either live in ho...meless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

A $20 cover will be charged at the door and all tips raised by the celebrity bartenders will be donated to Stockings with Care.




Bartending celebrities scheduled to appear include: Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order, Rent), Carrie Preston (True Blood, The Good Wife), Rys Coiro (Entourage, A Gifted Man), Blair Brown (Copenhagen, Fringe), Dean Winters (30 Rock, Oz), Kate Mulgrew (Warehouse 13, Star Trek Voyager), Scott Cohen (Pan Am, Necessary Roughness), Becky Ann Baker (Good People, Freaks and Geeks), Dylan Baker (Damages, God of Carnage, The Good Wife), John Benjamin Hickey (Tony Award winner for Normal Heart, The Big C), Phyllis Somerville (The Big C), Aaron Tveit (Catch Me If You Can, Next to Normal), LaChanze (The Help, The Color Purple), Annie Parisse (Rubicon, Law & Order), Diane Neal (Law & Order: SVU, NCIS), Danny Pino (Law & Order: SVU, Cold Case), Kelli Giddish (Law & Order: SVU, The Good Wife, Past Life), Kathryn Erbe (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Oz), Nancy Giles (CBS News Sunday Morning), Zuzanna Szadkowski (Gossip Girl, Love, Loss & What I Wore), Austin Peck and Terri Conn (One Life To Live) and more special guests to be announced.

There will also be a Silent Auction and a Raffle. All monies raised from this event will support Stockings with Care's 2011 Holiday Drive.

Stockings With Care works with the following agencies who are dedicated to meeting the needs of families in our area shelters and assistance programs. Our kids are like any other kid. They are infants, toddlers, tweens and teens. And they want what every other kid wants: toys, dolls, stuffed animals, clothes, games, music, etc. But these kids don't enjoy the comfort and security of a stable home. Luckily, these kids and their families have the care, concern, and support of the following organizations, among others: The Family Center (assistance to families living with HIV); Women in Need (assistance to women and children in various crisis situations); Family Preservation Program (places homeless families and offers support).

Actor, Movies, Television and Radio Voice. Guy Madison appeared in some 85 films, performed as a voice actor on the radio but his most prominent success came in a popular television series. He was born Robert Ozell Moseley in Pumpkin Center, California on January 19, 1926. In high school, he worked summers as a lifeguard and upon graduation attended Bakersfield Junior College studying animal husbandry. After two years, he worked briefly as a telephone lineman before joining the Coast Guard serving during World War II.. He never had any ambitions toward a movie career and lacked training and experience. ... became a couple. Chris, it seems, at least accepts himself as gay and has ordered Mike out of the apartment. Coming attractions have Chris outing the Probie to his mates at the Firehouse. Is there no room in this world for a bi-sexual Probie? Yes, there has been much discussion about whether such creatures truly exist. Perhaps bi-sexual is really a euphemism for sexual confusion. The confusion seems to come from Leary and Tolan trying to do too much all at once with their plots and moving them along too quickly. Chris & Probie would have a lot to deal with even if one of them weren't so confused. There seem to be some deleted scenes or Tolan/Leary have a lot of faith in their viewing audience to make the transition without accompanying scenes. At least Paula, the one woman gay converter, wasn't around. You know, the girl last week who said she was capable of turning gay men.
