Tuesday Talent: David Moretti as Mr. Wright

Los Angeles, CA, May 04, 2010 -- David Moretti (!here TV The Lair), has been cast to play Pearce Wright, the fun loving life coach in Finding Mr. Wright. Moretti will be starring alongside Matthew Montgomery and Rebekah Kochan.

David Moretti is a Los Angeles based actor best known for his portrayal of Thom, the lead protagonist on here! TV's show, The Lair. His role on The Lair led to appearances in films such as Manje, Murder.com, and Playing With Fire.

Finding Mr. Wright is a romantic comedy in which Matthew Montgomery will star as Clark Townsend, an ambitious, serious minded talent manager who is forced to attend a wilderness therapy retreat weekend to save his disastrous, Hollywood-starlet (Rebekah Kochan) client’s career, who has no clue he is about to fall unexpectedly head over heels for her new, awkward, fun loving life coach, Pearce Wright (Moretti). Nancy Criss is attached to direct the film. Scribed by Jake Helgren. Produced by Nancy Criss, Matthew Montgomery and Tracy Wright. Principal photography is expected to commence in fall 2010.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to direct Moretti with the rest of the cast. At the audition he just drew you into his character and it seem to come from a place of truth with his character,” said Criss. “We have a great cast shaping up already and I hope to have a few more surprises to announce in the very near future.”

"The character of Pearce spoke to me on so many levels, I knew I had to play him as soon as I read the very well written script. I think we are all looking for a Mr. or Mrs. [W]right in some capacity, even if we don't know it or want to deal with it - as evident with Matthew Montgomery's character of Clark. I'm more than thrilled at having the opportunity to play such a warm, driven character who proves that love can be found in the most unlikely of places, when we least expect it." said Moretti.
