Saturday Beefcake Lunch: Rib Stickin' Maccheroni


This is a re-worked version of a recipe found on the internet. This is what you need to carb up for a vigorous workout or a day when a lot of sexual activity is scheduled. This is also a great recipe for the cooler days that are bound to come.




Rigatoni, one pound/500 grams, cooked al dente
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, three quarter cup
Garlic, twelve cloves
Fresh Basil, small bunch, chopped,
Red Onion, one medium, sliced and caramelized
Potatoes, six medium, cooked and cubed
Sea Salt, one teaspoon
Ground Black Pepper, one teaspoon
Butter, unsalted,
Broccoli or Broccoli di Rape, and/or Cauliflower, steamed, one pound
Asiago Cheese, one cup
Rosemary, Fresh Sprigs



1. In a heavy skillet heat oil and add halved cloves of garlic Saute until golden.
2. Add onion
3. Add potatoes and vegetables and toss gently.
4. Pour sauce over pasta, add pepper, parmesan cheese and work through with a bit of the butter.
5. Rosemary for garnish
