One of the better aspects of being single is that the only dysfunction that one has to undergo is one's own. Perhaps the struggle for marriage rights isn't all it's made out to be if it means acquiring the same self absorbed ignorance of those who project their dysfunction.

Florida's Amendment 2, up for voter approval this year:

"Inasmuch as marriage is the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife, no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized."
