Tuesday Talent: Double Your Pleasure

There have been very long lines outside Cat On a Hot Tin Roof.

It's a great cast, not the least of which is Phylicia Rashad.

Another reason is Terrence Howard's temporary replacemmet, Boris Kodjoe.

He is in the Broadway revival at the Broadhurst Theater until 4 May. The production, which is directed by Debbie Allen, also stars Anika Noni Rose, James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad, Giancarlo Esposito, Lisa Arrindell Anderson, Lou Myers, and Count Stovall.

Kodjoe's acting credits include Love and Basketball, Brown Sugar, Soul Food: The Series, Doing Hard Time, and Second Time Around

We will take you from here to another gay oriented story from As The World Turns. As as happened too often in the past some badly motivated television fans are trying to hold a show hostage to their ignorance. The unfortunate part of it is that there are young, talented actors whose jobs are on the line. It is hoped that Procter & Gamble will realize that the people who are trying to make television fiction into fundie unreality will not influence sales of their products.

At any rate ...The American Family Association has just launched a letter and call-in campaign to have the Luke/Noah storyline removed from the day time soap opera As the World Turns. Procter & Gamble has set up a toll free number to poll responses. The number is (800) 331-3774. Press 1 and then press 2 to get to the ATWT poll. Then press 1 to tell them you want the storyline to continue. Enough is enough. Is it any wonder that Soap Operas are on the verge of oblivion.
