The Rosalinde Block Party is a kick-ass band, fronted by singer/ songwriter Rosalinde Block and TV personality Ilene Kristen (Roxy from One Life to Live, Delia from Ryan’s Hope). The music is a celebration —a blend of r&b/pop/gospel— it's Rosalinde's music peppered with some great rare R'n'B covers. Amazing guest artists join us regularly—you never know who’s going to visit them on stage.
The band features some of the heaviest hitters from Classic R'n'B school. These guys have played with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, B.B. King, Ben E. King, Chuck Jackson, Ray Charles, Manhattan Transfer, Richie Havens, The Allman Bros. and Lou Rawls.
