Six Degrees of Gerald McCullouch

A drizzle of olive oil and a dash of wine goes very well as a condiment with a steaming minestra like pasta e fagioli straight from the authentic Tuscan kitchen at New York's La Cantina Toscana. It's even better sitting across from CSI's Gerald (the G is hard) McCullouch who acknowledges that the ritual inherited from a maternal grandfather is just right even for something as exceptional as a peasant dish served up just right.

Just right is Gerald's attitude about the many porjects he has ahead of him not the least of which is wrapping this season of the hit show of which he has a recurring part. He is refurbishing his new digs in Manhattan and looking forward to some very original film and theatrical work. It is just a small part of what makes him one of this life's better dinner companions.

Consider this in the meantime: one of his better known castmates, George Eads was a member of the short lived primetime serial drama Savannah along with Paul Satterfield who is a current member of the cast of One Life to Live along with fan favourite Ilene Kristen who became well known to viewers as the original (and for many the only) Delia Reid Ryan Coleridge on Ryan's Hope which also boasts Leslie Easterbrook as a cast member who also starred in Gerald's film The Moment After as well as Hard G's current castmate Marg Helgenberger.

Ms Kristen ties Mr. McCullouch into the POZ Event as does Michael Clay who has singer Ty Herndon's friendship in common with the hard G.

All of this information points to one very important thing ... well, not really, it points to absolutely nothing.

It's just an opportunity to talk about and point out a fine human being and find a unique way to thank him for coming to dinner and enjoying a peasant dish or two.
