POZ’s AND WE LOVE SOAPS’ SEVENTH ANNUAL AIDS WALK FUNDRAISER IS WEDNESDAY MAY 16 FROM 5:30-9PM AT PROHIBITION IN MANHATTAN

New York, New York (March 19, 2012)—POZ and We Love Soaps are pleased to announce the sixth annual fundraiser for AIDS Walk New York, Love Out Loud, on Wednesday May 12 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at Prohibition in Manhattan. This year we have the very entertaining Michael K Walsh hosting the event along with Papa G. Good friend, Ilene Kristen of One Life to Live is in attendance this year, John Kouri & Friends have returned to entertain us.

As usual in attendance there will be more than one local celebrity stay tuned for updates.

"Have we been waiting for something like this since Billie, then Dinah passed on--i.e. groovy, in-the-tradition jazz singing that actually means something? Heir apparent Betty Carter is on an ego trip, Cassandra Wilson is too arty... and so on. Abbey Lincoln's trip is something else again (perhaps Parisian) as she poignantly introduces "How High The Moon" in broken French and triumphantly ends the set with Francis Lai's "Live For Life."
